I decided to download and watch Necronomicon since my boyfriend introduced me to Re-Animator (both are originally stories by H. P. Lovecraft and star Jeffrey Combs). I was pleasantly surprised! Its a bit dated at 1993, but the gore and scares are still excellent!
Its comprised of three stories by Lovecraft and all directed by different people. Some segments I enjoyed much more than others (Dr. Madden’s story as well as the butcher’s) which unfortunately came at the end so it took a bit of time for the movie to pick up.
